About Corrine: "After mostly growing up in western Washington I moved to Olympia in 1998 to attend The Evergreen State College and never left. I love living in Olympia and value the family friendly community here. At the beginning of my career I worked as a Case Manager then as a Therapist at Behavioral Health Resources. After earning my Masters degree in School Counseling I began commuting to Tacoma Schools and worked there for 6 years. The past 4 years I have been home with my two beautiful baby boys. Before becoming a parent I pursued some exciting hobbies such as travel. Now I continue to enjoy hiking, nature, creative writing and am an avid reader and movie watcher.  I teach Second Steps guidance curriculum in all the Montessori classrooms, head the positive behavior intervention and support (PBIS) team, and manage 504's for the building. I am excited to be working at ORLA and to be part of the Olympia School District!  I love being able to help kids and their families and look forward to getting to know more and more members of our community."   Corrine Taiji, School Counselor at ORLA M,T,TH  360-596-6283
