Peggy Olsen, School Counselor,  (360) 596-7730 ext. 6283
I grew up in Tacoma and Elma, WA and spent some time in Portland, Oregon during college. I have a Master of Education degree and a Master of Science degree in Psychology.  My 28 years in education include teaching students from kindergarten to college and working with students in a counseling role from kindergarten to 12th grade.  I spent the last two years teaching in an alternative education program here in Olympia and I am really looking forward to getting to know ORLA families.

I am married and have two fun and adventurous adult daughters.  My hobbies include reading, playing the piano, genealogy, going to the beach, making soap, and spoiling my pets. Our dog, Koda, loves car rides and our cat, Anna, loves sleeping on my laptop especially when I am trying to work. My lifelong pet list also includes a chameleon, hamster, horses, rabbit, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, and  llamas.  My older daughter acquired my love for music and minored in Music in college. My younger daughter acquired my love of animals and currently has snakes, a horse, and and a bearded dragon.
